Since approximately 25 years I have been working in the field of designing, implementing and promoting sustainable ways of living. Graduated from the School of Architecture in Arhus, Denmark, I started to work internationally at an early age.
After studying stage design under Josef Svoboda in Prague, I was employed in 1984 by Sottsass Associatti (The Memphis Group) in Milan.
In 1988 I founded the non-profit organization O2 which deals with environmental and cultural issues (now called O2 Global Network www.o2gn.org).

I have organized numerous conferences, workshops etc. worldwide among others the conference "Mind over matter" about the development of immaterial design and design ethics in general in Copenhagen in 1996.
I started the new millennium working as design strategist for Razorfish Oslo (got a SERIOUS interest in new technology)

In 2000 and 2001 I produced the conferences "Experience Design" in Norway and Denmark in collaboration with the Danish Design Center and the Copenhagen Institute for Future Studies.
I continue to lecture and to give workshops worldwide. Im currently working as consultant in Europe as well as India for among others Actics. Im also working together with the Indian designer and interior architect Aparna Karve on developing new sustainable luxury housing in India.
